In 1966, Pierre
Rensonnet creates PreciRay, an engine that allows you to adjust
bike wheels within a revolutionary short time. He gets the
gold medal at Lepine Contest the same year (patent 672.210).
PreciRay-B is quickly improved and Pierre Rensonnet expands
his method of wheels centring to motos with
PreciRay-M.
While searching
for a workshop to build a part of PreciRay, he meets Albert
Antoine, interested in building PreciRay in its whole,
and so becoming exclusive constructor.
Success is immediate
: professionals quickly understand how much time they could
win. It's immediately in great request for most famous cycle
teams, constructors, repairers, schools and resellers. One
can see it in every international specialised trade fair and
orders come soon. PreciRay is present on five continents and
in 68 countries. Reseller's network grows firm.
PreciRay is now
known as a part of indispensable elementary
equipment for 2 wheels professionals. The fineness of
its functioning is teached in specialised schools.
Obviously, it has
been copied and so called improved, but no material answers
as much to wills of professionals as PreciRay for its simplicity
of use. PreciRay is completely mechanical, without any electric
or electronic part, as its lasting is so quite unlimited.
It weights 25 kg and can be easily moved.
In 2002, PreciRay
enters the Web. Not anybody does visit fairs and such a tool
should be accessed by any cyclist, from amateur to professional.
Many still do without but, as Pierre Rensonnet says : "Working
without is losing one's time".
